2.6 has a JDBC server, not a DAS server, and the .NET provider needs
the latter.
You would need to connect your .NET application via the 2006 .NET
provider to the DAS server running in an Ingres 2006 net installation.
>From there you would access your 2.6 database via Ingres/Net.
