[Info-Ingres] Re install on Ubuntu Feisty

This seems to be a wider problem than I had at first thought. For 
example, Createdb fails with a similar error, if dash is used instead of 
bash.

This link (a long winded and irritable discussion, but relevant) points 
to a discussion of the problem, which as far as I can tell boils down to 
the new POSIX 2004 standard saying that 'echo' should not have options, 
and that script writers should use 'printf' instead.

It might be worth a look by the maintainers of the Ingres shell scripts.
