[Info-Ingres] Connecting to database on other machine through VDBA

Hi,
I have ingres databse installed on my machine and on some other
machine. Through VDBA I am able to view the database tables and run
queries on the database installed on my machine. Now what is the way,
if I want to access the database installed on other machine through
VDBA. Is it possible through adding a node with 'net address' as the
'ip address of the other machine'? We have tried by doing this. But we
are not able to connect. Can anyone please tell me what is the way to
connect?
