[Info-Ingres] Network weirdness

Hi Everyone,

I have a PC with IngresII2.6 connecting with IngresNET to a an 
Ingres2006 installation at level: 
II 9.0.4 (a64.lnx/105)NPTL + patch 12125

The connection is established, an application is busily and happily 
whirling away until we suddenly get the server error:
    E_CLFE07_BS_READ_ERR	Read from peer process 
    failed; it may have exited.

The client PC has the error:
    E_CL2784_GC_RECEIVE_FAIL	An attempted network 
    receive failed
    P224    ::[II\COMSVR\448     , 00000001]: socket() failed with 
    operating system error 10054 (An existing connection was 
    forcibly closed by the remote host.)

Anyone got any idea what may be happening?
