Great news folks!

The people setting up the Ingres Apprentice project 
(http://community.ingres.com/wiki/Ingres_Janitors_Project) had a conference 
call this morning in which it was decided that 
comp.databases.ingres/info-ingres will be the communication channel for the 
project.  The decision was completely unanimous; everyone had a different 
idea about what the strengths of these two are, but there was total, instant 
agreement that it is the way to go.

This is a better result than I had dared hope for.  And it's just the start.
