Well, I'm amazed. I didn't expect any replies to my question. It's
nice to know I'm not alone.

Okay, have edited my rundbms.opt file, and it now looks like this:

-names
-connected_sessions 64
-active_sessions 64
-cursors_per_session 16
-database_count 44
-stack_size 196608
-shared_cache
-fast_commit
-write_behind 4
-qsf.pool_size 2097152
-psf.memory 5000000

I will swap the new rundbms.opt file in this afternoon, and report
back.

The MATTERID is an integer.

This is a 1GB machine - anyone remember DRS/NX ?? It's an ICL/Fujitsu
K series SPARC Super Server running dual 60Mhz CPU's.
