Karl,

Yes, funny things have been occurring over the last few days. For
instance the UNIX 'cron' process just stops for no reason. Also, I did
some repartitioning of a couple of disks, using fmthard, and although
the partitions were created successfully, I kept receiving BUS errors.
Not seen that before either. Things are adding up here.

I agree with you about the reseating of the CPU's and memory. Also, I
question the mother board. We've changed the CPU's in this server a
few times now, and I just feel it would be worth replacing the mother
board. We've got some salvage kit, and I know there is a mother board
in the items we have.

I don't believe in coincidences. Cause and effect. I'll check out the
hardware.
