I was buying some odds and ends in an electronics store over the weekend and
noticed some deeply discounted ultra-small USB flash drives on sale, in 1Gb
and 2Gb capacity. I couldn't resist. I've also been playing around with
MojoPac recently. All I needed to complete what I hope may be the world's
smallest Ingres installation was a glass of single malt, half an hour of
peace and quiet, and open source Ingres.
I now have a usable Ingres installation with seven times the storage
capacity and all the performance of my first VAX-11/750, in a package I
could wear as an earring. Take a look at
http://www.rationalcommerce.com/mojopac.htm.
It just has to be good for something!
Roy
